Associate Engineer, Digital Design Engineering
The ATE Business Unit at Analog Devices (ADI) is the industry leader in automated test equipment, delivering high-performance solutions including pin electronics, device power supplies, switches, and multiplexers. We enable faster, more accurate, and cost-effective semiconductor testing worldwide—empowering innovation across the globe.
As an Associate Digital IC Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative team developing digital circuits for next-generation semiconductor test solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience helping define product specifications, writing RTL code, and supporting verification tasks. You’ll also contribute to the design of SoCs, ASICs, and FPGA-based prototypes used in high-performance test equipment. This role is designed to help you build a strong foundation in IC design while learning about key concepts like Design-for-Test (DFT), low-power design, and digital implementation. You’ll be mentored by experienced engineers, work on real-world chip design challenges, and gain experience with industry-standard tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and many more.

Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. A Master’s in Microelectronics is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of VLSI circuit design (e.g., CMOS, timing concepts).
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or similar hardware description languages.
- Exposure to digital design tools or coursework related to RTL design is an advantage.
- Additional knowledge in Analog Design or scripting languages such as Python, PERL, or Shell is considered an advantage, though not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
