Spring Health is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Associate Critical Incident Response (CIR) Care Advocate to join our team. In this remote, full-time role, you play a pivotal role in ensuring workplaces have the resources and support they need to navigate workplace crises. You will provide vital coordination and logistical support for CIR services—helping companies respond effectively to incidents such as workplace accidents, employee deaths, suicides, or organizational restructuring.

This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in mental health and crisis response, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in moments of critical need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and process CIR requests within the Spring Health platform and document accordingly.
  • Schedule appropriate support resources (e.g., Dedicated Clinicians, Management Consultants, 1099 Providers) to respond to CIR events.
  • Collaborate with the Management Consultation Team and After Hours/Global Care Navigation Team to ensure seamless handoffs.
  • Conduct outreach to providers trained in CIR delivery, ensuring timely availability and engagement.
  • Monitor and follow up on provider responses, maintaining active communication with Requesters.
  • Assign CIR service providers and ensure Requesters are kept up-to-date throughout the coordination process.
  • Make real-time adjustments or cancellations to CIR support as needed.
  • Send relevant CIR resources and information to Leaders and Requesters.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with both internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
  • Identify and resolve barriers that may affect the delivery of CIR support, in collaboration with providers and team members.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and other professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and uphold high standards of confidentiality, compliance, and ethics.
  • Provide peer support and backup coverage to fellow CIR Care Advocates as needed.
  • Support other administrative duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience or training in mental health, crisis intervention, or related support work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and comfort navigating new platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus quickly as needed.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
Preferred
  • Previous experience in Critical Incident Response (CIR) coordination or delivery.
  • Experience working in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) environment.

The target base salary range for this position is $30.05 - $37.14 Hourly, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
