As an Associate Consultant at ADAPTOVATE, you will work directly with clients to solve complex business problems, deliver meaningful transformation, and identify practical ways to apply AI and emerging technologies to improve how organizations operate.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong management consulting foundation, structured problem-solving skills, and experience delivering business transformation. Exposure to AI, automation, or emerging technologies is valuable, but strong consulting capability comes first.

What will you be doing?

  • Structure complex business problems and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
  • Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance customer and employee experience
  • Support clients in identifying and prioritizing AI-enabled opportunities and use cases that improve decision-making, operations, and business performance
  • Contribute to digital and AI-enabled transformation initiatives, including use-case identification, business case development, adoption, and implementation
  • Own or contribute to project workstreams, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality client outputs
  • Lead client working sessions to structure problems, test hypotheses, align decisions, and move transformation initiatives forward
  • Manage project milestones, timelines, and deliverables in fast-paced consulting environments
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance environment

What is ADAPTOVATE looking for?

  • At least 2 years of client-facing management consulting experience, ideally within management, strategy, transformation, or digital consulting
  • Around 2–5 years of total professional experience
  • Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience owning or materially contributing to consulting workstreams and high-quality client deliverables
  • Strong client-facing capability, including stakeholder management, presentations, and working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in business transformation, operating model, process improvement, digital transformation, organisational change, or strategy execution
  • Interest or practical exposure to AI, automation, and emerging technologies; technical AI expertise is not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicants must currently have the legal right to work in Australia
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model from our Melbourne office and travel to client sites when required
