The Associate will support GHG inventory measurement, execute climate advisory services, shape product strategies, and aid business development efforts to drive decarbonisation solutions for clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- GHG Inventory Measurement: Support onboarding and delivery of GHG measurement engagements for large multinational corporate clients, at both the corporate and product levels, using our SaaS platform; Contribute to key activities including value chain mapping workshops, definition of accounting approaches, data collection guidance, methodological documentation and results review; Ensure clients receive a comprehensive, high-quality GHG inventory that is aligned with the GHG Protocol and applicable standards such as national regulatory frameworks; Conduct internal quality assurance reviews of measurement results to ensure accuracy and credibility.
- Climate Advisory: Scope and execute tailored professional services engagements across key decarbonisation areas including: SBTi target setting and readiness assessment, FLAG emissions disaggregation and tracking, Transition planning and emissions reduction pathways, Reporting readiness and disclosure alignment; Build and manage trusted relationships with clients, serving as a key point of contact and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across engagements; Research and apply emerging climate frameworks, regulatory updates, and industry best practices to inform and elevate client strategies; Translate complex climate concepts into practical, actionable roadmaps for transition and implementation, tailored to client maturity and context.
- Product Strategy and Research: Provide research and subject-matter input to shape product roadmap decisions, particularly around features that enable carbon measurement, land-sector reporting, and nature-based solutions; Identify opportunities to strengthen platform functionality through improved emission factor integration, accounting frameworks, and user workflows; Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams by sharing client feedback, logging feature requests, and validating feature concepts; Apply deep carbon-accounting expertise to enable development of AI-assisted decarbonisation recommendations.
- Content and Business Development Support: Partner with the Commercial and Marketing teams to create compelling, insight-driven content for client engagements and campaigns; Contribute to the development and delivery of webinars, workshops, and training sessions on GHG measurement, SBTi, and decarbonisation planning; Support pitch and proposal development by providing tailored research and domain expertise.
To succeed in this role, you need to have/ be:
- A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in GHG accounting, sustainability consulting, and/ or climate data analysis
- Prior exposure to GHG accounting and reporting frameworks, such as GHG Protocol, CSRD, CDP or TCFD, as well as SBTi
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A structured, problem-solving mindset and strong project management capabilities.
- Able to distill complex sustainability topics into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and external clients.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and datasets, with a proactive approach to contributing to product and platform improvements.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of land and nature-based sectors, including emissions hotspots, accounting approaches, and decarbonisation levers
- Familiarity with SBTi FLAG, land-sector and removals guidance, and product carbon footprint standards
- Prior exposure to SaaS products, in particular carbon accounting platforms or digital sustainability tools
- Familiarity with supplier engagement strategies and supply chain ESG risk management
