At Mars Food & Nutrition Australia, we are on the lookout for a talented Artwork Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Wyong, nestled on the stunning NSW Central Coast, or from our Sydney Office.
Why This Role Matters:
As our Artwork Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our cross-functional project team, serving as the champion of the design process.
You will oversee end-to-end artwork management, identifying relevant risks and ensuring seamless collaboration between marketing and design execution. This position calls for a proactive and independent thinker, capable of navigating a complex environment to drive continuous improvement in our artwork processes.
You’ll work closely with the Activity Team and various stakeholders to uncover continuous improvement opportunities that enhance our artwork management.
What You’ll Do:
1. Artwork Deployment
- Manage the label design and artwork process for Innovation, Renovation, and Maintenance projects, guiding the artwork briefing and approval process from inception to final print.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the core project team, including scenario planning and risk management to address major challenges.
- Brief external compilation agencies for artwork compilation and reproduction.
- Collaborate with Marketing for design and print copy, and with R&D for recipe inputs.
- Create EAN/barcode data through external systems.
2. Data Management
- Act as the Key User of the Printed Packs Specifications management within Veritas, proactively identifying and implementing continuous improvements.
3. Project Management
- Lead small projects, such as promotional campaigns, product launches into new markets, and product discontinuations. This will involve feasibility assessments, time planning, and coordination with factory and market stakeholders.
- Manage the Marketing packaging budget effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- An enthusiastic individual with an apprenticeship in the business sector and 2-3 years of experience, or a current BA student or university graduate.
- Functional experience in Project Management, Marketing, Packaging, or Graphics is preferred.
