The Security Systems Project Manager leads security technology deployment in APAC, managing projects to ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining client satisfaction.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Project Manager who will be embedded part time on Netflix’s Enterprise Security Technology team.
The Security Systems Project Manager will lead the deployment of security technologies including access control systems, video management systems, intercoms, alarms, etc. across the APAC region. They will be responsible for creating project plans, scheduling and driving meetings, and following up on action items with cross functional partners to close out projects. Additionally, they will manage the testing and commissioning of systems and maintain project documents including drawings, warranties, designs, etc. with the primary goal of delivering projects on time and within budget.
This is a part time position (~20 hours/week) with a hybrid work schedule out of one of Netflix’s APAC buildings.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead project management, scheduling, structure, and analysis by overseeing all aspects of the security systems build out.
- Understanding of project management life cycle, with an ability to accurately review proposals and develop preliminary project plans including, but not limited to tasks, timeframes, and deliverables.
- Design the layout of security technologies (CCTV, access control, intrusion, etc.) in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
- Support in the testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
- Track project related issues and work with project team members to follow up on issues and status.
- Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules to ensure positive cash flow.
- Responsible for maximizing client satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
- Respond to inquiries and answer technical client questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of the security systems.
- Ensure change management considerations are identified and implemented within all projects.
- Identify project level milestones and integrate them into an overall program level strategy.
- Supervise all project scheduling, monitor schedule variances, and recommend corrective action.
- Track actual spend, report variances, and adjust future forecasts with proper change control.
Required Skills and Experience
- Expert understanding of Genetec VMS and Access Control.
- 4+ years of experience as a systems project manager leading enterprise wide deployments.
- 4+ years of PM in construction and security.
- Experience with Genetec Synergis in a cloud based environment is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with little supervision.
- Excellent personal communication and diplomacy skills.
- PMP and/or CISSP is encouraged.
- Entertainment industry experience is preferred.
