Are you a marketing specialist looking to help transform the construction and surveying industries in APAC and beyond?

What You Will Do

Trimble Field Systems provides a wide range of hardware and software solutions to the construction and surveying industries. Our industry-leading solutions help make our customers safer and more productive.

As the APAC Marketing Manager for Field Systems, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with assigned Trimble dealers, coordinating marketing development funds, educating dealers on campaigns and marketing resources, and providing guidance on advanced go-to-market strategies. You will act as the liaison and the main point of contact between Trimble marketing, Trimble sales, and our APAC distribution channels.  To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in marketing or account management, live in Australia, and be willing to travel as needed.

Travel requirements for this role are expected to be up to 10%, both nationally and internationally.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned dealers primarily in Australia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Singapore, and other countries

  • Coordinate marketing development funds to support growth in your territory

  • Educate dealers on available campaigns and marketing resources

  • Provide guidance on advanced go-to-market strategies

  • Support dealers in developing and executing their marketing plans. Help drive digital marketing adoption at the dealer level. Assist dealers in linking market opportunities to marketing activity/action.

  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to support sales-led initiatives

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

  • Represent Trimble at industry events and conferences

  • Manage the regional marketing budget

  • Utilize AI to increase productivity

What Skills You Should Bring

You’ll need a strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Other qualifications, experience, skills, and attributes you’ll possess are:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in an indirect sales channel or account management role

  • Experience with a varied MarTech stack, including marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (SFDC)

  • Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks in a quarter

  • Curiosity: You’re inquisitive and know how to observe and identify patterns that identify trends and key insights. You know how to ask the right questions to uncover big ideas.

  • Creativity: You’re innovative and resourceful, and equally apply both the left and right sides of the brain

  • Diplomacy: Your style and reputation encourages collaboration and the willingness of others to support your efforts

  • Determination: You persevere towards difficult goals despite obstacles

  • Experience in the geospatial, civil construction, and/or building/construction industry is a plus.

Note: Only applicants legally entitled to work permanently in Australia will be considered for this role.

Trimble has offices in Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane, where you could work fully office-based, work a hybrid pattern (3 days in office, 2 days WFH), or potentially work fully remote.
