Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are looking for Trade Marketing & Retail Execution Manager that will design and implement plans to deliver world-class experiences at physical retail locations in ANZ, monitoring and improving in-store execution at Bose resellers. You will be responsible for managing all elements of retail operations at assigned resellers and achieve targeted metrics on brand presentation, display deployment & functionality, RSP training and advocacy, POS productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and driving in-store operations excellence within ANZ.

This position is operationally focused, working closely with the ANZ Sales team and cross-functional partners to ensure excellence in both digital and physical retail environments. You will support the development and delivery of trade marketing activities, manage day-to-day retail operations, and provide strong administrative support to ensure flawless execution. The role requires frequent travel to visit stores, assess performance, and support in-store initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations & Execution

  • Partner with reseller to maintain updated portfolio of reseller POS info, including store tier, formats, displays & placement, store contacts

  • Management of 3PL field agency resources and planning, evaluate performance and define actions to achieve POS productivity targets

  • Management and continuous improvement of all elements of in-store execution to achieve POS productivity targets

  • Assist in the coordination of product launches, retail campaigns, and in-store activations in line with HQ and global merchandising guidelines.

  • Identify reseller requirements and needs to enhance product launch, displays, training and promotional execution

  • Lead sell-in/sell-through of national initiatives with Reseller personnel responsible for merchandising, display, execution and RSP training

  • Drive RSP advocacy by ensuring proper supporting documents (on-line & in-store), teaching aids and communication tools are being utilized to inform and educate the field sales team

  • Visit stores regularly, with and without external agencies, to monitor and assess execution, review compliance and drive continuous improvements

Trade Marketing, Insights, Data & Reporting

  • Support the development and execution of annual trade marketing plans with key ANZ resellers, aligned to Bose’s commercial strategy

  • Assist in the management of co-marketing campaigns and reseller media investments, ensuring ROI and sell-through performance.

  • Collaborate with the ANZ Sales team and global omnichannel teams to deliver effective content and shopper experiences across reseller channels.

  • Apply a shopper-first approach, using insights, data, and competitor analysis to refine execution.

  • Support budget administration, tracking performance and reporting on activity effectiveness.

  • Track and report KPIs for trade marketing and retail operations (sell-through, display performance, ROI, training, POS productivity).

  • Provide data-driven insights to Sales and Marketing teams to improve performance and inform planning.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience working with national multi-unit chains across retail and field operations, merchandising, trade marketing, digital marketing/retail media, retail and field operations, or channel marketing roles.

  • Proven managerial experience across merchandising, retail operations, training, and working with third-party agencies.

  • Proven success in negotiating and business planning with complex retail partners

  • Experience supporting sales teams and working cross-functionally

  • Ability to lead cross functionally by aligning goals, measures and stakeholders across the entire value chain.

  • Strong operational and administrative skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.

  • Financial and data acumen - Strong business planning capability, understanding of budget management, reporting, and ROI analysis.

  • Strong ability to understand the decision-making process by effectively negotiating with a win-win attitude.

  • Ability to plan, organize and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of resources to achieve success - Project management

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into practical actions.

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Willingness to travel regularly across ANZ as needed.
