About the Role

As a Claims Consultant, your primary focus will be reviewing, assessing and processing a high volume of health insurance claims while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality standards. You will investigate claim submissions, identify missing or incomplete information, and communicate clearly with members to assist in the timely resolution of their claims.

Key Responsibilities

What's on Offer?

  • Start Date: Monday 19 October 2026
  • Location: Docklands, Melbourne
  • Hybrid Working Model: This role requires full-time attendance in our Docklands office for approximately the first six weeks, covering training and consolidation. Once training is completed and competency and performance requirements are met, employees will transition to a hybrid arrangement with 2 office days per week in office.
  • Operating Hours: Rotating roster, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 6:00pm.
  • Permanent Full-Time Position: 38 paid hours per week.
  • Pay Rate: $29.45 per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements.
  • Training Rate: $27.08 per hour plus super for first two weeks
  • Comprehensive paid training program, including two weeks of classroom-based learning followed by structured coaching and ongoing support.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Customer Service or Administration role would be essential for success 
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry such as insurance, finance or healthcare is highly regarded.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven administrative and data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently to customers.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
  • Confidence using multiple systems, email platforms and customer service software.
  • Resilience, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • A positive attitude and genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
