A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Analyst – Business Continuity Management reporting to the Executive Manager, Business Continuity Management, where you will join the Enterprise Resilience team.
A bit about the role
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery, uplift, and embedding of a fit‑for‑purpose Business Continuity Management system across the enterprise. Your day work will involve organising and assisting with workshops across business units, helping create accurate and standardised BCM documentation, and ensuring templates and materials are delivered within planned timeframes. You will contribute to capability uplift by helping develop training materials, FAQs, and communications and by supporting staff to complete required BCM training within the annual cycle.
You will also be involved in the organisation’s compliance environment by helping monitor adherence to BCM standards, assisting in quarterly audit preparation, and ensuring that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Collaboration will be a significant part of your role as you work with IT Service Continuity, Crisis Management and other resilience partners to align recovery activities, contribute to integration planning, and help coordinate joint exercises. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow foundational BCM, project, risk and stakeholder skills while supporting the resilience of a critical national organisation.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, it is likely that you have early exposure to or a strong interest in business continuity, operational resilience, risk, change or project management, or training and facilitation. You probably enjoy organising information, working with templates, managing timelines, and contributing to improvements that make processes clearer and more efficient. You’re someone who communicates well with a broad range of stakeholders and feels comfortable supporting workshops or training environments. You can prioritise tasks, manage your time effectively, work accurately with documentation and data, and maintain a positive and collaborative approach. A relevant degree in business resilience, risk management, governance, business or project management, change management or similar would be beneficial, and experience in telecommunications would be an advantage but is not essential.
