While a deep technical background in AI/ML is not required, the ideal candidate will bring strong drive, business acumen, and the ability to translate business challenges into AI-driven opportunities. You will serve as a bridge between business, technology, and data teams, working with the APAC and ANZ teams to ensure AI is aligned with NTT DATA ANZ’s broader transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Initiative Pipeline (Roadmap)

- Develop and maintain AI initiative roadmaps, aligned to both near-term priorities and long-term transformation goals.
- Track emerging AI trends to inform internal planning and innovation.
2. Business Enablement & Product Ownership
- Act as the internal product owner (or work with a business-based product owner) for AI initiatives, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Work with the APAC AI team and ANZ Transformation Program to prioritise and sequence AI opportunities based on value, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Help develop business cases for AI initiatives, including expected benefits, risks, and resource needs.
- Serve as a key liaison between business teams, data and analytics, IT, and vendors to ensure alignment and clarity of purpose.
- Drive collaboration between technical experts and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful delivery.
3. Collaboration with the ANZ Transformation Office
- Work closely with the ANZ Transformation Office to identify where AI can streamline or redesign existing business processes.
- Support enterprise transformation efforts by embedding AI into initiatives focused on operational efficiency, digitisation, and employee productivity.
- Ensure AI solutions are integrated into broader transformation programs and aligned with process reengineering goals.
4. AI Governance & Risk Alignment
- In alignment with the APAC AI Governance Board and the APAC AI Taskforce, collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure internal AI adoption aligns with ethical standards and regulatory expectations.
5. Change Management & Engagement
- Support internal communication and change management efforts to promote AI literacy and adoption.
- Drive the ANZ-focused AI community of ambassadors and change agents to embed AI as a new way of working.
6. Value Tracking & Benefits Realisation
- Define and track success metrics for AI initiatives, covering both financial and non-financial benefits, leveraging the APAC tools available to support this.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset to evolve AI use cases based on results and feedback.
