Role Overview:

The AI Business Development Manager (AI BDM) is responsible for driving F5’s AI growth agenda across NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCPs), Sovereign AI infrastructure providers, and Enterprise AI customers in ANZ.

This role focuses on strategic relationship development, ecosystem engagement, and early-stage opportunity creation across AI infrastructure, platforms, and services. The AI BDM will work cross‑functionally with Sales, Solution Engineering, Alliances, and Partners to position F5 as a critical component of secure, scalable, enterprise‑grade AI infrastructure and AI application delivery.

The role is expected to operate ahead of traditional sales motions, shaping demand, influencing architecture decisions, and accelerating partner‑led and enterprise AI opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic AI & Ecosystem Business Development

  • Own and drive F5’s AI business development motion across:
    • NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCPs)
    • Sovereign AI and regulated cloud providers
    • AI‑focused infrastructure operators and platforms
  • Establish and maintain senior executive relationships across partner and customer organizations
  • Influence AI platform and infrastructure strategies by engaging early with technical and business decision‑makers

NVIDIA & Partner Engagement

  • Drive joint engagement with NVIDIA‑aligned partners and AI ecosystem participants
  • Support development of joint solution positioning aligned to NVIDIA reference architectures and AI factory initiatives
  • Coordinate partner‑led GTM motions that align F5 capabilities to AI infrastructure security, traffic management, and application delivery

Enterprise AI Opportunity Creation

  • Identify, qualify, and shape enterprise AI opportunities including:
    • GenAI platforms and services
    • AI inference and model‑serving environments
    • Multi‑tenant and Sovereign AI platforms
  • Partner with account teams to progress AI opportunities from early strategy through to formal sales engagement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers navigating AI adoption complexity.

Internal Alignment & Execution

  • Work closely with:
    • Regional Sales leadership
    • AI Solution Architects
    • Alliances and Partner teams
  • Contribute to account planning and execution for Top NCP and Sovereign Cloud accounts
  • Provide structured updates into regional AI tracking and reporting cadences

Market Intelligence & Feedback

  • Track AI infrastructure investment trends across ANZ, including GPU cloud, sovereign initiatives, and regulated industry adoption
  • Provide feedback to regional and global stakeholders on competitive positioning, partner strategies, and emerging AI use cases

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level of experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in Business Development, Strategic Sales, or Alliances
  • Proven success engaging C‑level and VP‑level stakeholders
  • Experience operating across complex partner ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure
    • AI platforms and workloads
    • Enterprise and regulated environments
  • Ability to bridge technical and commercial discussions
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, or hyperscale ecosystems
  • Exposure to NVIDIA‑aligned platforms, GPU cloud providers, or AI service providers
  • Background engaging regulated industries (government, finance, telco, critical infrastructure)
  • Comfortable working in early‑stage, evolving AI GTM environments
