About the role

At Lendi Group, we’re building AI-powered systems that help our Growth teams move faster, scale smarter, and deliver better customer outcomes across Aussie and Lendi.

We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager to help design, build, and scale AI agents and automation workflows that teams genuinely rely on, not just AI tools for personal productivity.

This is a hands-on builder role for someone early in their product or technology career who is deeply curious about AI, loves solving problems, and enjoys turning messy workflows into scalable systems.

You’ll work across Growth, Content, Brand, Product, and Engineering to create practical AI-powered solutions that improve how teams create content, manage knowledge, run experiments, streamline operations, and drive commercial impact.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape how AI agents become embedded into the day-to-day operations of one of Australia’s leading fintech growth teams.

We’re open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Job Description

  • Build and improve AI agents and connected workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Glean, Rovo, Zapier, Cursor, or equivalent platforms
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand problems, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into practical AI solutions
  • Design multi-step agent workflows that improve speed, quality, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Help prioritise and coordinate multiple AI initiatives based on business value and impact
  • Monitor, refine, and optimise agent performance as adoption scales across teams
  • Support experimentation, CRO, and funnel optimisation initiatives across Aussie and Lendi digital experiences
  • Contribute to the full lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions — from discovery and prototyping through to rollout, iteration, and long-term optimisation
  • Work closely with product, engineering, design, analytics, and growth teams to deliver measurable outcomes

What Success Looks Like

At 6 Months

  • You’ve built AI agents or automation workflows that meaningfully improve team efficiency or output
  • At least one of your solutions is actively being used or tested by the Growth team
  • You’ve contributed to CRO experiments or funnel improvements and helped measure their impact
  • You understand the key acquisition journeys across Aussie and Lendi and how AI can improve them

At 12 Months

  • AI agents and workflows you’ve built are embedded into how the Growth team operates day-to-day
  • You’re recognised as a go-to person for building scalable AI workflows and agent-based solutions
  • Your work is contributing to faster execution, improved quality, stronger conversion outcomes, or reduced manual effort
  • You’re operating with increasing autonomy across more complex problem spaces

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents, orchestrated workflows, or automation systems beyond simple chat-based prompting
  • Strong understanding of multi-step workflows, tool orchestration, and AI-enabled processes
  • Experience working in product, engineering, operations, growth, or similarly hands-on environments
  • Ability to prioritise competing problems and think through the full lifecycle of a solution
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how systems and workflows connect to business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
  • Curiosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging AI tooling
  • Comfort working in fast-moving environments where technology and priorities evolve quickly

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or CRO
  • Exposure to customer acquisition funnels or digital product journeys
  • Experience working with growth, content, or operational workflows
  • Familiarity with fintech, marketplaces, or high-volume digital products

We know great candidates don’t always tick every box. If you’re excited by the role and have built interesting things with AI, we’d still love to hear from you — and during the interview process, we’d love to see what you’ve built.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
