Provides technical leadership for display graphics application software and platform services. Develops software architecture, designs, and embedded C++ implementations; evaluates new technologies; optimizes GPU, CPU, and memory performance; supports integration and field investigations; participates in design reviews; creates software tests; and mentors junior engineers.
This role involves technical leadership in the Display Graphics application software/Display Platform Services area for the creation and integration of functionality and features for Anthem.
- The role is required to develop software architecture, design and implementation in line with FCI development and Lean/Agile program execution.
- New technology development through application development, graphics trade-off analysis, GPU/CPU/Memory performance/optimization initiatives.
- Provide investigation support for integration/field issues. Participates in design reviews and technical decision making.
- Mentor the junior members in the team and be seen as a problem solver.
- Collaborates/ actively networks with stakeholders for new technologies/ideas incubation/information.
- B.E / B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
- 6+ years of experience working various application areas supporting mission critical functions/programs.
- SW architecture design and embedded C++ coding
- Object oriented development experience
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
- Object oriented development experience
- Firmware & driver development experience preferred.
Multithreading/Multicore processing preferred
