We’re looking for two experienced Accounts Payable Advisor to join our team at our head office in Archerfield, Brisbane to be the primary point of contact between DXC Technology Company, the business, Caterpillar and EFT sure. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role. 

What you’ll be doing:  

As an Accounts Payable Advisor at Hastings Deering, you will:  

  • Undertake large statement reconciliations

  • Facilitate the resolution of complex invoices with internal/external stakeholders

  • Maintain all Caterpillar vendor accounts by ensuring documents are processed and settled in a timely manner

  • Download monthly statements and prepare payment schedules

  • Access and obtain documents through various portals as required

  • Be the central point of contact between our offshore partner DXC, EFTsure, Concur, the business and Caterpillar

  • Monitor accounts payable systems, producing status reports to track trends and issues and then work with the business and/or DXC to resolve

  • Ensure all communication and messaging to Hastings Deering external stakeholders (suppliers, customers) is conducted in accordance with the Company values and operational priorities

  • Provide support to the business in the resolution of issues relating to purchase orders, supplier payments, personal expense and credit card claims.

  • Assist the business with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of new processes, procedures and workflows
     

What you’ll need:  

A successful teammate will have experience in:   

  • Relevant level of experience in an Accounts Payable role

  • Strong communication skills

  • Previous experience in working with ERP systems.

  • Experience with the Microsoft suite of products, particularly Excel.

  • Proven stakeholder engagement with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and confidence.
