What this opportunity Involves:
We are on the lookout for an experience professional to join our team based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane to become our new Account Technology Director at JLL. The Account Technology Director is an emerging role within this industry and JLL is leading the way. This role will require someone who can act as a leader, advisor, and an innovator. You will be supporting the Work Dynamics team who work with up to 6 clients to ensure technology needs are met whilst liaising with account directors and clients. This role is predominantly client focused and works on ensuring their requirements are met at all times.
An overview of your role:
- Delivers insights and best practices in business-technology innovation management by connecting the business potential of emerging technologies, industry leading thought-leadership and the client’s corporate strategy across the digital landscape
- Recommends innovation priorities through a holistic strategic vision and delivery roadmap aligned to achieve the client’s strategic business objectives, create immersive digital customer experiences and powerful data-driven insights
- Assists the client to educate their line of business to drive digital change management and user adoption and provide powerful and agile proof of concept piloting ahead of full program implementation, ensuring a connection to the client’s goals and objectives
- Aligns technology and data operations through the life cycle, aligning the delivery roadmap and vision to technology platform implementation and sustainability models through mastery in digital services delivery
- Liaises with delivery teams and tracks implementations safeguarding information and maintaining a rigorous alignment to the client’s information security protocols. Escalates implementation issues and risks with a focus on quality outcomes and adherence to client expectations.
- Meets frequently with C-Suite executives and client real estate leaders to highlight results and present solutions to position Jones Lang LaSalle and the client for growth opportunities
- Achieves reference status with all clients which demonstrates best in class thought leadership that can be leveraged to expand and grow the business
- Serve as the single point of accountability for all JLLT services delivered for all medium-large clients
- During the lifecycle of initiative delivery, this leader will continue to monitor the status and success of the initiatives and act as the liaison to the leadership teams
- Act as a point of escalation for customer concerns related to aligned digital platform and services
- Proactively prepare for client renewal – striving for a no bid renewal by providing strategy to the account team
- Provide guidance and strategy to the Solutions Development team for the digital portion sales pursuits to aligned account(s)

- Deep expertise in the industry of the assigned accounts (Banking, Insurance, Public Institutions, Healthcare, etc.). Ideally past experience as a CRE lead, consulting, technical sales, or business development.
- Understands the market of CRE Technologies, Prop Tech, IWMS, Smart Buildings, IoT, etc.
- Leader in sales orientation and ability to solicit new pursuits, skillfully negotiate pursuits that result in mutual interests and build solid business relationships to generate new and on-going business growth
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in addition to a broad range of business experience acquired through previous work experience
- Additionally, the candidate must have 7-10 years of relevant industry/domain experience
- Ideal candidates with have demonstrated experience in roles such as technical or proptech consulting, technical account management, or technology sales and business development.
