Job DescriptionWe are now seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Account Sales Director – VIC to lead our business development efforts across the corporate and MICE segments in Victoria at Minor Hotels.

As Account Sales Director, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy—identifying new opportunities, nurturing key accounts, and driving revenue across Rooms, Catering, and Events. You’ll collaborate with hotel teams and senior leadership to deliver tailored solutions that exceed client expectations and support our long-term success.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow corporate and MICE business.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing relationships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and key account relationships.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, including RFPs and long-stay agreements.
- Represent Minor Hotels at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Lead contract negotiations, manage RFPs, and secure long-stay and group bookings.
- Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Report on performance, pipeline, and key account activity to senior stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on corporate and MICE segments.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
