Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to take ownership of our expansion efforts in the Australian market. This is a builder role — you’ll be the first AM in the region, with the opportunity to grow into a more strategic position as the region scales.
You’ll manage SMB and Mid-Market customers, focusing on expansion and growth within existing accounts. You will work closely with SDRs generating demand, and collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
Your KPIs will focus on revenue expansion, product adoption, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the post-sale relationship with SMB and Mid-Market customers in Australia.
- Conduct discovery and expansion meetings to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate with SDRs to manage and convert pipeline.
- Partner with onboarding and support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Track and meet quarterly revenue expansion goals.
- Contribute feedback to Product and Marketing teams.
- 2+ years of experience in SaaS — preferably in AM or AE roles.
- Proven track record in SMB or Mid-Market segments.
- Has transitioned from Sales (AE/BDR) to Account Management, or has a hybrid background.
- Strong collaborative mindset — has worked cross-functionally (Sales, CS, Marketing).
- Highly independent and self-driven — thrives in a remote, low-supervision environment.
- Understands the dynamics of early-stage teams or startups — comfortable building processes.
- Ambitious and growth-oriented — sees this role as an opportunity to scale a new region.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients quickly.
- Builder personality – proactive, resourceful, entrepreneurial.
- Not afraid of ambiguity — thrives in "first person on the ground" scenarios.
