About the opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to be our first dedicated Account Manager based in Adelaide.

You will utilise your exceptional relationship skills, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit to reinforce Axis’s local presence in South Australia.

In this role, you will represent Axis Communications as an Account Manager to the highest standard across all sales routes to market, ie. from our dedicated distributors and system integrators/partners to our end customers.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys managing an effective business territory, driving new business opportunities with both existing and new customers, and be the professional interface between our customers and partners and the rest of Axis.  We are also looking for someone who shares our passion of working together to achieve a common goal.

You will be supported by the wider Sales teams as well as our dedicated Marketing, Distribution and End Customer teams.

This position is based in Adelaide and will have an inherent requirement to travel domestically at times with some international travel as well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the key point of contact to our valued partners and customers to support their ongoing, current and future growth needs.
  • Identify, qualify, and build a pipeline of leads and project opportunities to support your territory.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls in a professional and customer focused manner.
  • Track your progress of Results versus Targets in Salesforce and other Axis forecasting databases and tools.
  • Build, track and revise Partner Plans with your key Partners to maintain key goals, strategies, and targets for your territory.
  • Prospect into and identify new Axis end customers & partners in South Australia throughout the year to help grow our base.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Axis teams, sales management and the marketing team to help deliver and support targeted campaigns and marketing activities across your territory, including participating in local trade shows, partner, distributor, and Axis events.
  • Always seek to improve relationships with our existing Partner’s / Distributors / Consultants & End Customers by building strong rapport and trust throughout the year.

Qualification and Experience

  • Certificate or bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or relevant experience
  • Exposure to, or some experience in a customer focused sales role or similar or within the technology industry, will be valued.
