Territory: NSW West

Position Overview:
As a key member of the NSW/ACT team, the responsibility of the account manager is to achieve sales revenue for a specified territory, by promoting and selling defined products to a target customer group, fostering relationships with financial influencers and decision makers to effect opportunity identification and conversion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan work to achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining a professional image for Cardinal Health in the marketplace
  • Accountable for identifying new opportunities through contracted and non-contracted portfolios, supporting the contract lifecycle management activities.
  • Responsible and Accountable for building out short, mid, and long-term opportunities for pipeline development. Prioritise these opportunities in conjunction with the RSM to allocate resources.
  • Through selling activity deliver on our promises, solve problems and eliminate concerns.
  • Responsible for building positive partnerships with our customers, continuously identifying where we can add value and expand our business offering whilst reducing our cost to serve. Complete business reviews in conjunction key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff
  • Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Ensure timely follow-up and prompt resolution to customer/patient technical and product issues, including after-hours support when needed
  • All activities must be performed in compliance with the local Quality System.
  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.

What you'll need to success

  • Passionate about selling with proven track record in sales in the healthcare environment, preferably in medical devices.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and achieve sales targets
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Knowledge and understanding of the hospital healthcare system
  • Current driver's license
