The Account Executive (Mid-Market) is responsible for the creation, qualification, pitching and closing all new revenue from organisations between 200-2000 employees.  

The Account Executive is responsible for building positive relationships and ensuring the adoption of our software to solve our customers’ business problems. 

 

The Account Executives seek to grow AvePoint customer base through the development and executive of GTM motions in line with market trends. Account Executives will work both directly with and through our channel partners to solve customer problems by leveraging the AvePoint Confidence platform. Additionally, the Account Executive may be required to maintain (renew) and grow (upsell + cross sell) a small group of existing AvePoint customers at the discretion of management.  

 
 
Key Responsibilities:  
 

  • Prospecting potential customers through various channels

  • Using consultative selling techniques to educate customers about their industry and offer insights and perspectives on technology needs that are fulfilled by our solutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction during the pre and post sales process
  • Attending and participating in team meetings and communicating regularly with professional services and engineering staff to ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Build strong customer relationships at multiple levels – decision makers, influences, champions, procurement, etc

  • Strong Account Executive experience and skills, Business Development experience preferable 
  • General familiarity with selling methodologies and processes
  • Several years of SaaS/Cloud software sales experience  
  • Experience selling in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Experience selling with Channel ecosystem (SI, VAR, MSPs etc)  
  • Executive level relationship selling experience
  • Accountability and a sense of urgency 
  • Ability to interpret data and management pipeline
