Job DescriptionAs an Account Executive, you'll manage a portfolio of Tier 3 accounts in the Franchise and Broker sectors, focusing on new business development, product adoption, and revenue growth across Australia. You'll be the voice of the customer, working cross-functionally to identify and address client challenges while driving growth for SEEK's smaller business accounts.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales and Operations Manager, the core function of the role is to –
Client Relationship Management & Revenue Growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying expansion opportunities
- Drive revenue growth through strategic positioning of SEEK Business as a key partner in clients' business strategies
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and present growth opportunities
- Execute contract negotiations focused on relationship development and revenue optimization
Solution Development & Product Adoption
- Analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions using SEEK Business's full product suite
- Lead introduction and adoption of new products suited to each client's specific requirements
- Provide customer insights to internal teams to inform platform enhancements
- Utilize performance analytics and market data to guide solution recommendations
Strategic Account Planning
- Conduct customer research to create detailed engagement strategies
- Manage client participation in SEEK Business events and initiatives
- Represent the voice of the customer across internal stakeholder groups
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Customer Service, Product, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client experiences
- Coordinate with third-party advisors to strengthen client relationships and market positioning
This role requires a proactive, consultative approach to account management with a focus on long-term relationship building and sustainable revenue growth within the franchise and business-for-sale sector.
Qualifications- Demonstrated track record in driving revenue growth with experience in consulting and solution sales methodologies
- Proactive approach to account planning with ability to gather customer insights and translate them into actionable recommendations
- Experience conducting regular contract reviews, performance assessments, and managing multi-faceted client needs
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to leverage stakeholders and represent the "voice of the customer" to product and marketing teams
- Experience with digital products and platforms, plus ability to work effectively with third-party advisors and consultants
- Exceptional phone-based selling skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret performance data, market analytics, and business-to-business marketplace dynamics
