As an Account Executive you'll play a key role in driving the sales operation, from prospecting for new business to closing deals, and managing an exciting portfolio of client accounts. You'll work with in-house technical experts to present Darktrace’s unique AI solution to information security experts.

Key Duties & Responsibilities as an Account Executive 

  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets through the acquisition of new accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads; self-sourcing efforts will be supplemented by regional support from Marketing, Inside Sales, and Channel teams.
  • Present and demonstrate Darktrace cyber threat defense solutions to information security experts and C-level executives.
  • Partner closely with Darktrace Subject Matter Experts, Technical Account Managers and Cyber Threat Analysts who will support you in delivering Proof of Values (POVs) to prospective customers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least three years of outbound B2B sales experience selling complex software; past success selling into a highly regulated market is strongly preferred.
  • Clear, working sales methodology and passion for hunting new business.
  • Confident, polished communicator with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Seeking a target-driven, meritocratic environment with exceptional opportunities for advancement.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
