About the Role & Team

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Griddle, our new Timetabling SaaS, across our existing customer base.

This is an exciting opportunity, where you will join a scaling EduTech business, driving the growth of a solution which is market leading and placed well to capitalise on a gap within the education market.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate a quality pipeline from both incoming leads and targeted outbound lead generation (prospect to purchase).

  • Develop, present and maintain an active Territory Plan, which is execution focused.
  • Work with Marketing to ensure that our messaging in the market and the supporting campaigns are driving the required engagement.
  • Support the coordination of complex bid processes, interacting effectively with both internal and external executive stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date on the Griddle product and participate in regular training & informational sessions.
  • Support and attend local and national marketing events.
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding and Training Team to bring new Customers onto the Griddle Platform efficiently.
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested by your manager.
Requirements

This is what you'll bring...

  • Extensive experience and proven track record of selling complex SaaS solutions, within a scaling team (5+ years).
  • Proven ability engaging with senior finance executives.
  • A background working in Timetabling or Daily Organisation will be highly regarded.
  • A true passion for putting customers first and delivering a consultative approach to sales.
  • The ability to build relationships and rapport quickly and effectively across a wide range of stakeholder and personalities.
  • The ability to work autonomously but also work well within a team environment.
  • Experience leading and aligning virtual teams.
  • Proven ability working with multiple stakeholders, understanding pain points and creating value which drives measurable benefits.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
