This position is responsible for selling Fortra Offensive Security solutions within an assigned geographic territory. This position focuses on net new revenue generation, increased NARR from existing customers, as well as cross-selling opportunities to existing customers. The candidate must have a strong track record of selling offensive cybersecurity solutions—similar to red teaming, adversary emulation, penetration testing, and/or breach simulation—to enterprise and government clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partner networks, networking, referrals, research, and cold calls.
  • Ability to travel to/within the region and occasionally nationwide to meet with customers, partners and attend tradeshows
  • Work closely with territory Channel Managers and Sales Engineers to build partner and strategic distributors in region.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Navigate the sales process by identifying the need, positioning the solution, scheduling and participating in the demonstration of the solution, managing the trial process, and closing the sale.
  • Communicate customer demand and trends internally.
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to closure.
  • Achieve annual quota according to pre-determined plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results oriented
  • At least 3 years of related sales experience; technology/software sales preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and quotas
  • Ability to travel within your territory for customer meetings and events.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and negotiate with emphasis on closing the sale 

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Existing network within region partner ecosystem, financial services, and/or Government agencies.
  • Experience executing red teaming or penetration testing engagements or selling offensive security offerings such as red team platforms, threat emulation, attack simulation, or penetration testing tools.
  • Based in or near Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra for close proximity to financial district and/or government customers.
