About the Role:

Matterport is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our ambitious, enthusiastic and performance driven team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled salesperson to be on the front line with your clients, selling solutions and services across AEC, Commercial Real Estate, Retail, Facilities Management, and Hospitality to a range of medium to large customers in the Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia territories . You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a history of winning and exceeding targets. 
 

For a passionate Saas salesperson, you’ll be joining at a pivotal moment - driving the nationwide scale-up of Costar’s groundbreaking Matterport technology across the Australian market, in an environment where teams are expanding and access to new career development pathways is accelerating.

What You’ll Do:

  • End to end sales - being able to generate pipeline, close and support customers post contract close 

  • Deliver and exceed quarterly targets across the Matterport portfolio, including SaaS, Hardware and Services, by selling to clients face to face and via online meetings. 

  • Key focus on driving new sales within your territory, whilst growing selected existing accounts.  

  • Generate Pipeline for your territory by prospecting into existing and new targets.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create a marketing plan to support your territory, focussing on trade shows, exhibitions, regional events, networking and customer events to drive relationships & pipeline.

  • Deliver sales, technical presentations & demos to new & existing customers via both virtual and on-site presentations.  

  • Develop Product proficiency - including running demonstrations with our Pro 3 Lidar camera. 

  • Develop strong Product knowledge by understanding the Matterport value proposition and benefits to our clients in their respective industries. 

  • Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of your territory by accurately forecasting weekly, monthly and quarterly numbers using Salesforce and Clari. 

  • Excellent application of other Sales tools such Gong, Groove, Highspot, LinkedIn, and Looker. 

  • Be a team player, working cross-functionally across Services, Customer Success, Support and Pre-Sales teams to ensure we have the right plans to support our customers.

Ideally You’ll Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (essential).

  • A minimum of 6 years Field Sales experience within the SAAS sector, with proven track record through multiple business cycles of closing multi-year deals. 

  • A history of achieving 100% sales quotas (SAAS, ACV).

  • Ability to complete at least 10-12 customer meetings a week. 

  • A focus on Value Based solution selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC sales methodology across both mid-market and enterprise deals. 

  • Ability to create and build pipelines against a mid-range sales cycle, which closes within 4-9 months. 

  • Experience selling to clients in one or many of these industries; Commercial or Residential Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, Construction. 

  • A level of resilience and team-mindedness.
