Lead Sitemark's commercial launch in Australia: build pipeline, prospect relentlessly, deliver pitches, negotiate and close enterprise deals, meet revenue targets, represent the company at events, and establish a trusted presence in the renewable energy market.
What we are building at Sitemark
Sitemark is the AI and robotics platform for building and operating renewable energy. The world's leading Owners, EPCs, and O&M companies use Sitemark.
What problem are we solving and why is this important to solve
The world is building one of the largest infrastructure shifts in history — and it needs better tools to get it done. Renewable energy projects are growing in scale, complexity, and urgency, but the teams responsible for building and operating them are stretched thin — buried in repetitive work, disconnected systems, and running out of time. That's why we built Sitemark: AI and robotics take the repetitive load off these teams, from the field to the office, so their time goes to what matters — and sites get built faster and perform better.
The team you'll join
You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives.
How we operate
* We care deeply about our customers and the problems we solve for them.
* We move fast, keep things simple, and focus on what matters.
* We keep our quality bar high by staying lean and hiring only the best.
Tasks
This is the role that puts Sitemark on the map in Australia. As our first dedicated commercial hire in the market, you'll open it from the ground up — finding the opportunities, opening the doors, and winning the first wave of customers in one of the world's fastest-growing solar markets.
It's a role for a closer: someone with the determination, grit, and sales instinct to prospect relentlessly, drive negotiations, and win new business. It's also a role with real ownership — you'll set the pace and shape how we win in Australia. If you want a clear playbook handed to you, this isn't it. If you want to build a market and own the outcome, keep reading.
What you'll do
* Open the Australian market from the ground up — build Sitemark's presence, pipeline, and first customer base.
* Build and own a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
* Drive relentless outreach and follow-up to win attention and secure meetings.
* Deliver persuasive pitches that translate Sitemark's value into tangible business outcomes.
* Negotiate confidently and close deals with enterprise stakeholders.
* Consistently meet or exceed ambitious revenue targets.
* Represent Sitemark at events, conferences, and customer meetings across Australia.
What success looks like after 6–12 months:
* Sitemark has a real, growing presence in Australia that didn't exist before — built by you.
* You've built a strong pipeline and closed the first wave of customers in the market.
* You're consistently hitting or beating ambitious revenue targets.
* You're a known, trusted name among the renewable energy players and events that matter in Australia.
Requirements
* Based in Australia, with native-level English and strong cultural affinity for the market.
* Proven B2B “hunter” sales experience (2–5 years minimum), with a strong record of closing deals and beating targets.
* A self-starter with serious ownership and initiative — you take the lead and make things happen without waiting for direction.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Resilient, competitive, and target-driven — you don't just manage accounts, you win them.
* Willingness to travel across Australia to secure and grow business.
_Nice to have:_
* Prior exposure to the solar or renewable energy sector.
* Additional languages.
Benefits
* A rare chance to own and build an entire market — you'll be the person who puts Sitemark on the map in Australia.
* Real impact: your work directly accelerates the global energy transition.
* Meaningful customers and projects: work with leading renewable energy companies on large-scale solar assets worldwide.
* Autonomy and ownership: a small, flat, international team where you shape how we do things — and a 98% employee satisfaction rate.
* A competitive base salary plus attractive performance-based incentives — your success is rewarded.
* Flexibility: remote or hybrid, based in Australia, with travel across the market.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene
Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
