Description

Do you come from a digital agency or consulting background and know exactly what separates a good digital experience from a great one? Are you passionate about helping enterprise clients transform their digital presence through data-driven strategy and cutting-edge solutions?

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team — someone who can bridge the gap between digital strategy and solution design, and who thrives on partnering with clients to solve complex challenges using the Squiz Digital Experience Platform (DXP).

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a dual role: strategic advisor and solutions lead. You’ll be the go-to partner for a portfolio of enterprise clients, helping shape their digital roadmaps while identifying opportunities to deliver measurable outcomes using our technology. This isn’t just account management — this is consulting-led growth with a deep focus on digital experience.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Growing and managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts
  • Leading strategic conversations with executive and operational stakeholders
  • Uncovering customer pain points and delivering tailored digital solutions
  • Advising clients on website, portal, and intranet strategy, UX, content, and DXP best practices
  • Creating and delivering compelling proposals, pitch decks, and business cases
  • Selling on value, outcomes, and ROI — not just features
  • Orchestrating cross-functional delivery teams to align with client goals
  • Being a trusted voice on digital trends and how they apply to government, education, utilities, telco and finance sectors
What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who has walked the digital walk — ideally from a digital agency or consultancy — and can own the full sales cycle and lead with insight. You'll need:

  • 2–5 years full sales cycle experience in complex B2B or SaaS environments
  • A proven record in selling digital solutions (websites, portals, apps, intranets)
  • Previous experience in a digital agency, consultancy, or advisory setting
  • Experience working with public sector, higher education, finance, telco, or utilities clients
  • Ability to run strategic conversations with senior stakeholders and challenge thinking
  • Confidence creating polished presentations, proposals, and commercial estimates
  • CRM fluency and solid opportunity pipeline management
  • Strong storytelling, commercial acumen, and a consultative mindset
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to shape digital outcomes that matter
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience designing and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
  • Skills in qualitative and quantitative research/insight gathering
  • Familiarity with DXP, CMS, CRM, or marketing automation platforms

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
