Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead, coach, and develop our client service delivery team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Portfolio Management, you will be accountable for the strategic and operational delivery of services across all supplied service lines, ensuring excellence in client outcomes and financial performance.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and empower a diverse team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Lead client relationships, act as an escalation point, and collaborate on strategy and initiatives.

  • Account Management: Manage service delivery, governance, compliance, and contractual obligations while achieving P&L targets.

  • Finance & Budgeting: Own corporate and client budgets, oversee financial reporting, and optimise expenditure.

  • Service Excellence: Drive a “One Team” culture, oversee reporting, and ensure service delivery aligns with client vision and values.

  • People Leadership: Lead and inspire a high‑performing team, manage recruitment and retention, and ensure succession planning.

  • Cross‑Sell & Innovation: Identify opportunities to expand services, generate additional revenue, and introduce new systems or enhancements.

What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years’ experience in property services delivery

  • Proven leadership capabilities to inspire and empower diverse teams

  • Strong client‑focus and customer experience mindset

  • Expertise in one or more key service delivery disciplines

  • Ability to manage complex business relationships and solve problems in a changing environment

  • High‑level communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills

Qualifications & Skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Property, Economics, or Business Management (desirable)

  • Strong financial acumen and risk management skills

  • Excellent planning, organisation, and decision‑making abilities

  • Proficiency in systems and data management
