Lead company-wide operations by building scalable processes, running OKR and planning cadences, owning KPI dashboards, improving workflows, coordinating hiring and onboarding, managing legal/corporate governance, and preparing investor and board materials to enable rapid growth.

Support day-to-day operations of the Melbourne office: manage facilities, procurement, suppliers, maintenance and records; coordinate domestic and international travel; organise meetings, onboarding and events; handle corporate expenses and executive administrative support; improve office systems and workflows in a fast-paced startup.

Lead cross-functional project delivery for quantum sensor development: build integrated plans, run agile ceremonies, track milestones, manage vendors, procurement, and stakeholder reporting to ensure execution.

Drive commercial adoption of Nomad Atomics' quantum sensing products by conducting market discovery, engaging customers, qualifying pipelines, developing proposals, and closing pilots and contracts. Build partnerships, represent the company at events, and translate customer needs to product and operations teams to inform go-to-market strategy and product-market fit.

Develop and optimize embedded software and firmware for quantum sensors, including Linux kernel drivers and user-space tools. Integrate with electronics, test and debug systems, implement unit tests, and follow best practices (version control, code review, documentation). Collaborate with engineers and physicists to improve performance and reliability.

Lead and manage hands-on R&D for atomic quantum sensors: design, prototype, integrate, optimise, ruggedise, and deploy optical, mechanical, and electronics subsystems while guiding a cross-functional team.

Develop and optimize embedded software and firmware for quantum sensors, including Linux kernel/driver development, integration with electronics and communication interfaces, testing, debugging, and building monitoring and UI tools. Collaborate with engineers and physicists to define system requirements and follow best practices like version control, unit testing, and documentation.
