See-Mode, a Melbourne-based company offering AI-powered ultrasound solutions, was recently acquired by U.S.-based RadNet. The latter operates DeepHealth, a subsidiary specializing in diagnostic imaging services and digital health solutions. The acquisition aims to strengthen DeepHealth’s position in the population health solutions category.

As part of the acquisition, RadNet will deploy See-Mode’s FDA-approved thyroid ultrasound solution at RadNet’s outpatient imaging centers. The company operates outpatient facilities in various states, including Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, New York and Texas.

“We are excited to integrate See-Mode’s technology in thyroid and breast ultrasound into DeepHealth’s comprehensive portfolio of AI-powered solutions for breast, lung, prostate and brain, to address clinical and operational challenges in high-volume care settings,” Kees Wesdorp, president and CEO of digital health at RadNet, said in a statement. “The technology and the team’s expertise will be the basis for future AI-powered ultrasound solutions that will add to the growth engine of DeepHealth.”
