Magentus, a healthtech company based in Melbourne, has acquired Labflow, a cloud-native suite of modular pathology tools, in a move aimed at accelerating its global expansion and strengthening its position in the digital health space, the company announced on Tuesday.

Under the deal, Magentus will integrate its Laboratory Information Management System, Evolution vLab, with Labflow’s pathology software portfolio to form a single, end-to-end pathology ecosystem designed to support large diagnostic networks, smaller independent labs and fast-growing markets across the region and internationally.

According to Magentus, unifying the two technologies will help labs deliver results more quickly, reduce administrative workload and improve patient outcomes.

Labflow’s platforms are already deployed in Australia and India, with rollouts planned for Malaysia and Singapore.
