Kaluza, an intelligent energy platform backed by AGL Energy, has acquired Melbourne-based Beige Technologies to expand its global reach, targeting markets in Australia, Britain, the United States and Japan.
According to a news release, as commercial energy needs become increasingly complex, energy suppliers are seeking more advanced and flexible solutions. Beige Technologies offers such tools through its product suite, called the “Zoo,” which includes individual systems like Moose and Spider. These tools help energy companies adapt to the changing demands of the energy sector.
Beige Technologies’ Lee White said in a statement: “Our pioneering technology has been battle-tested in Australia, one of the world’s most advanced and complex energy markets, operating at the bleeding edge of the energy transition. Many of the challenges we’ve solved are now emerging globally, and we’re thrilled to scale our impact by bringing these high-performance tools to energy suppliers worldwide.”
