ITC Infotech, a Bengaluru-based digital technology services company, has opened a new digital engineering hub in Melbourne that will serve as its Asia-Pacific region headquarters, signaling an expansion of its footprint in the region.
In the announcement on Tuesday, ITC said the new hub will support enterprises in accelerating digital transformation across sectors including consumer packaged goods, retail, manufacturing and banking. The hub will also prioritize innovation in agri-business, aligning with the region’s $20 billion agriculture economy.
ITC plans to grow its Melbourne workforce over the next few years, with about 150 new roles expected to be created as part of its local expansion strategy.
“We believe that there are significant opportunities to partner with Australian enterprises as they advance their digital, sustainability and growth agendas. With APAC operations being led from Melbourne, ITC Infotech is well-positioned to further elevate our customer-centric approach and accelerate innovation and impact for clients across the region,” Manas Chakraborty of ITC Infotech said in a statement.
