Construction software startup BuildPass has secured $7.5 million in seed funding to expand its presence in the small- to medium-sized business and mid-market construction sectors. The funding will also support the company’s entry into the U.S. market.
The BuildPass platform integrates safety, quality assurance and site and equipment management into user-friendly mobile and desktop interfaces for construction workers.
This funding round was led by Sydney-based Carthona Capital, with additional contributions from Saniel Ventures, Recursive Ventures, Horizon VC and Massive Tech Ventures.
Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Aaron Vanston said in a statement that the startup is prioritizing artificial intelligence and developing solutions designed to help builders overcome productivity challenges.
