About the role
As a Senior Gen AI Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping Bunnings adopt and scale the use of Generative AI across the business. You’ll partner with teams across the organisation to identify opportunities, shape requirements and design smart, AI-enabled solutions that solve real business problems.
You’ll lead discovery sessions to understand business needs, translate them into actionable solution designs and help bring them to life using low-code and no-code tools. You’ll also roll up your sleeves to build and refine practical solutions – from intelligent agents and chatbots to workflow automation – using platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
This is a hands-on, impact-driven role for someone who’s passionate about making AI accessible, practical and valuable for our team members and customers alike.
What’s involved
As a Senior Gen AI Analyst you will:
- Partner with business and technology teams to uncover where AI can improve processes, decisions and customer experiences.
- Support the design and delivery of low-code AI solutions and agents that solve real business problems.
- Work with AI Engineers and Product Managers to turn ideas into scalable, safe and practical solutions.
- Lead workshops and discovery sessions to translate business needs into GenAI solution requirements.
- Analyse and communicate performance metrics to show impact and guide iteration.
- Champion AI adoption and awareness across business units, helping others build AI confidence and understanding.
- Help shape the product backlog and support sprint planning, retros and reviews.
- Mentor and coach team members in AI best practices and emerging opportunities.
About You
You’re a curious and practical problem-solver who’s excited about the potential of AI to make work smarter, faster and simpler. You’re collaborative, customer-focused and love exploring how new technologies can drive real-world impact.
You thrive in agile teams, enjoy facilitating conversations between technical and non-technical people and can translate ideas into actionable solutions. You don’t need to be an expert in AI tools yet - we’ll support you to grow - but you should bring a strong interest in learning and applying them in creative, meaningful ways.
You’ll need:
- Strong demonstrated experience in business analysis or a similar role (ideally around 7 plus years).
- Strong background in agile delivery, including discovery-to-delivery practices.
- Experience facilitating workshops and translating insights into user stories.
- Solid understanding of AI best practice and understanding of emerging technologies
- Interest in Generative AI, automation and emerging technologies, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Confidence working with data to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, computer science, or a related field.
As part of your application please include your up-to-date resume plus a cover letter outlining your experience with Gen AI and how you use Gen AI daily to enhance business processes, efficiencies or customer experience.
You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
