Senior Fund Adviser
Sydney / Brisbane / Melbourne
Description
The person will lead client service provision, implement regulatory change and build relationships with exiting and new clients to drive revenue growth.
Job specification
Provide advice and assist Clients, at all organisational levels, to provide advice and support in the execution of their governance responsibilities.
Provide secretariat support for superannuation and related industry clients, ensuring compliance with superannuation prudential standards; and relevant legislation and licensing conditions.
Identify, manage and/or undertake all action items emanating from each client meeting.
Proactively work with clients and services providers to implement any required changes to business processes as a result of legislative or regulatory change, or to improve compliance standards.
Manage service provider reporting, tenders and reviews in accordance with client requirements.
Manage all Regulator engagements on behalf of the client.
Ensure implementation of client compliance plans, addressing requirements under SIS, Corporations Act, other applicable Financial Services law, and relevant obligations.
Conduct reviews on Client documentation (disclosure and non-disclosure), and continuously seeking to find efficiencies in standardisation of these documents across organisations where possible.
Actively look for opportunities to extend services to clients or attract new clients to ACS.
Implement procedures to ensure that the Group meet various lodgment requirements under statutory, regulatory and licensing obligations.
In addition to the above, undertake any other duties as required from time to time.
Skills Required:
Formal qualifications in a relevant field such as Business or Finance preferred
RG146 Qualified
5+ years’ experience working in a Senior Governance, Compliance or Risk Management or role within the Financial Services Industry; including Regulator liaison.
High knowledge of Superannuation and Financial Services legislation
Demonstrated ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders at all levels to develop productive working relationships
Ability to analytically interpret legislative and regulatory requirements, and develop practical and commercial solutions for clients
A focus on delivering quality service which meets client needs and expectations as well as their other third party service providers.
Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Self motivated, with excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple requests for assistance.
