Job Description

We are hiring an SAP BTP Developer and Application Support Specialist to ensure the operational excellence and strategic evolution of our clients' SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments. This pivotal role centers on the proactive maintenance, rapid incident resolution, and strategic implementation of enhancements across diverse BTP landscapes. You'll be the primary point of contact for stability, optimizing performance through hands-on work with core technologies like SAP Cloud Connector, the SAP Integration Suite, SAP Identity Authentication Service, and applications built on the SAP HANA database. Key responsibilities include meticulous troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the timely deployment of necessary fixes and minor feature enhancements based on precise client requirements. Collaboration is crucial; you will partner with both clients and internal teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and ensure superior client satisfaction.

Qualifications

 

  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Support Expertise: Strong understanding of the SAP BTP platform architecture and its various services from a support and maintenance perspective.
  • Integration Troubleshooting: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP Cloud Connector configurations and connectivity. Expertise in troubleshooting integration flows and API connectivity within the SAP Integration Suite.
  • Security and Identity Management Support: Experience in supporting and resolving issues related to user authentication and authorization via SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
  • Document Management Support: Familiarity with supporting and troubleshooting issues within SAP Document Management Service (DMS), including content access and workflow problems.
  • SAP HANA Database Support: Basic understanding of SAP HANA database operations relevant to application performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Ability to execute basic SQL queries for diagnostic purposes.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to analyze application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose problems across various layers of the application stack.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and internal teams. Strong customer service orientation.
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Ability to manage and prioritize support tickets and enhancement requests effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation for issue resolution and enhancement implementation.

  • Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for issue resolution, solution architecture, and implemented enhancements.
