What you’ll do 

We are looking for a Pega Business Architect (BA) responsible for capturing, analyzing and translating business requirements into clear Pega-ready specifications. The role works closely with product owners, SMEs, architects and developers to shape case design, workflows, data models and user experience using Pega best practices and Pega Blueprint. The Pega BA ensures requirements are well-defined, testable and aligned with Pega Constellation design patterns, while supporting UAT, backlog grooming and continuous improvements.

Due to the secure nature of this role, we are looking for candidates that has Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance at minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify and document requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria and business rules.

•      Produce and maintain Pega Blueprints, functional specifications, process flows, wireframes and mapping documents.

•      Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirement walkthroughs with SMEs and technical teams.

•      Work with LSA/CSSA teams to align business needs with Pega OOTB capabilities, patterns and reusable components.

•      Translate high-level requirements into detailed case structures, stages, steps, personas, data models and UI needs.

•      Collaborate with developers to ensure requirements are correctly understood and implemented.

•      Support backlog prioritization, grooming and release planning activities.

•      Validate functionality during system testing, assist UAT planning, prepare test scenarios and support users during UAT.

•      Manage change requests, maintain traceability matrices and ensure documentation stays up-to-date across project phases.

•      Identify process improvement opportunities and help shape the feature roadmap based on user feedback and analytics.

Here’s what you need:

• Pega Certified Business Architect
• 5+ years in general BA experience with 2+ years in Pega platform implementations
• Hands-on experience working on Pega projects (requirements, functional design, UAT support, Pega Blueprint)
• Strong understanding of Pega case life cycle design, data structures, personas, integrations and UI patterns
• Ability to create clear business requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to break down complex problems into structured requirements

• Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance at minimum
