Purpose of the role

Endeavour Group is Australia’s leader in the drinks and hospitality industry. With more than 28,000 team members and a footprint of over 1,600 stores and 330 hotels, we’re behind household names such as Dan Murphy’s, BWS, and ALH Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.

  • Design, build, and maintain visually engaging dashboards and reports for key stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage robust data pipelines and scalable data architecture, ensuring data quality through thorough validation processes and the identification and resolution of inconsistencies or gaps.

  • Focus on deriving meaningful insights (the ‘so what’) from ongoing and ad hoc analyses, crafting clear narratives and identifying actions and opportunities.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and data optimisation.

  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and partner.

  • Adhere to team norms, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency across the business, while actively contributing to and supporting positive team dynamics.

  • Thrive and grow within our team norms, standards and procedures to provide consistency across the business and with peers

  • Keep learning: stay up to date with knowledge of current trends to ensure our solutions remain in line with industry best practice

As our successful candidate you will form part of Endeavour’s Data & AI (d&ai) team. You will have had relevant experience in a similar role where you have supported key stakeholders to deliver insights and support decisions, as well as having worked across data visualisation and insights.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
