Transport Auditor

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct comprehensive audits of subcontractor delivery partners.
• Verify compliance with NHVR regulations, Chain of Responsibility (COR), fatigue management, vehicle standards, and workplace health and safety requirements (including Modern Slavery obligations).
• Develop audit tools, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage subcontractor pre-qualification and ongoing compliance, ensuring insurance, licenses, and certifications are always up to date.
• Support investigations into incidents and compliance breaches, providing insights and practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Safety, Legal) to ensure consistent compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reporting, and audit trails in line with company requirements.

• 3–5 years’ experience in transport compliance, auditing, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of NHVR regulations, HVNL, and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
• Proven experience conducting audits and writing clear, actionable reports.
• High level of attention to detail, integrity, and objectivity.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills – able to explain complex compliance issues to drivers, managers, and senior leaders.
• Proficiency with compliance management software and audit tools (preferred).
• Current Australian driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally when required.
