You will own the hunt for new opportunities, building a pipeline that delivers a set budget in new revenue each year. By engaging senior prospects monthly, you’ll secure 10 - 12 new customers per quarter within mid-market, converting at least 25 % of qualified leads into long-term partnerships. Armed with cutting-edge market insights, you’ll craft multichannel solutions that showcase our end-to-end logistics strengths and set the benchmark for service excellence.
What you’ll do
  • Prospect strategically: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to uncover fresh logo opportunities aligned with our growth plans.
  • Collaborate to innovate: Work alongside Commercial Solutions, Pricing & Yield and Operations to co-design proposals that demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Pitch with impact: Lead engaging presentations and product demonstrations that simplify complex logistics challenges for executive decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and close: Secure new contracts and partnerships that drive profitable volume, ensuring handovers to Account Management run smoothly.
  • Maintain pipeline health: Leverage Salesforce to keep forecasts accurate, report progress in real time and hit your annual target.
We’re looking for someone who
  • Thrives on new business development - the more uncharted, the better.
  • Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, always refining their approach.
  • Builds instant credibility with all audiences through clear, consultative communication.
  • Partners seamlessly across functions to deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Is motivated by data, tracking key metrics to optimise every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Comes with 3–5 years’ success in field-based business development or new-logo sales, with set annual targets.
  • Demonstrates proven ability to generate and convert a healthy pipeline (25 %+ conversion, 3× coverage)
  • Has Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and sales analytics tools
